Sec-TA at Panathēnea Festival 2025: Ukrainian Cybersecurity on the European Stage 🇺🇦🇬🇷

From May 27–29, Sec-TA represented Ukraine at Panathēnea Festival 2025 in Athens as part of the official Ukrainian startup delegation.

Panathēnea brought together more than 10,000 participants, 250+ speakers, investors, founders, researchers, corporations, and representatives of innovation ecosystems from across Europe and beyond. For Sec-TA, it was an important opportunity to present our cybersecurity solution, exchange ideas with the international tech community, and strengthen our presence in the European innovation ecosystem.

Representing Ukrainian innovation in Athens

This year marked the first participation of a Ukrainian delegation at Panathēnea. Ukraine was represented by 16 startups — eight civilian companies coordinated by the Ukrainian Startup Fund and eight defense-tech companies coordinated by Brave1.

Sec-TA joined the civilian delegation alongside Beholder, Generect, Memoria Global App, Revisior, UA Green, UCAT-3D, and Wild.Codes.

For two days, Ukrainian startups presented their technologies at the Panathēnea Startup Exhibition in Zappeion, meeting investors, potential partners, founders, and representatives of the European innovation community.

For us, this was not only about presenting Sec-TA. It was also about showing the strength, expertise, and ambition of the Ukrainian technology ecosystem on an international stage.

Sec-TA at “Deep Tech: From Lab to Market”

One of the key moments of the festival for our team was presenting Sec-TA during the “Deep Tech: From Lab to Market” side event.

We introduced our cybersecurity solution and shared our vision of how modern organizations can approach digital risk in a more proactive and structured way.

Cybersecurity is no longer only a technical function. It has become a critical part of business resilience, digital infrastructure, and long-term growth. As companies expand, adopt new technologies, and operate across increasingly complex digital environments, security must evolve with them.

Presenting Sec-TA to founders, investors, researchers, and industry experts gave us the chance to receive valuable feedback, discuss real market needs, and explore how our approach can create value across different industries and countries.

Building international connections

Some of the most valuable results of Panathēnea came from the conversations around the event.

Throughout the festival, we connected with representatives of venture funds, technology companies, research institutions, innovation hubs, and startup ecosystems from Greece and across Europe.

These exchanges are especially important for cybersecurity companies. Digital threats are global, and strong security solutions need international cooperation, shared expertise, and access to different markets.

For Sec-TA, every new conversation is an opportunity to better understand the challenges companies face, identify potential partnerships, and continue developing solutions that can work at an international scale.

Connecting with the European innovation ecosystem

On May 29, the Ukrainian delegation also joined the WIN2EDIH & SmartAttica session at the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”, one of Greece’s leading research institutions.

The session focused on strengthening connections between Ukrainian startups and the wider European innovation ecosystem.

Anna Motrych, Project Manager at the Ukrainian Startup Fund, presented the Ukrainian innovation landscape, the work of USF, and the Win-Win EDIH Ukraine initiative, which supports the integration of Ukrainian startups into the European Digital Innovation Hubs network.

For Sec-TA, initiatives like this create important opportunities to deepen cooperation with European partners, access new expertise, and build relationships that can support long-term international growth.

Ukrainian technology is ready to compete globally

Panathēnea 2025 once again demonstrated the diversity and potential of Ukrainian technology companies.

The delegation brought together startups working across cybersecurity, AI, deep tech, sustainability, 3D technologies, customer experience, developer tools, and defense technology.

Different industries and different solutions, but one shared ambition: to build products that can compete internationally.

At Sec-TA, we are proud to be part of this ecosystem and to represent Ukrainian cybersecurity abroad.

Participation in international events like Panathēnea helps us not only showcase what we have already built, but also understand where the market is going, what international partners need, and how we can continue improving our technology.

What we are taking forward

For Sec-TA, Panathēnea Festival 2025 was about much more than one pitch or one exhibition.

It was about new conversations, new perspectives, new opportunities, and stronger connections with the European technology community.

We are grateful to the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and everyone involved in organizing the Ukrainian delegation.

We also thank the Panathēnea community, investors, founders, researchers, and industry experts who took the time to meet us, exchange ideas, and provide feedback.

We return from Athens with new connections and even more motivation to continue building.

Sec-TA will keep bringing Ukrainian cybersecurity expertise to international markets, developing stronger partnerships, and creating technologies that help organizations operate securely in an increasingly connected world. 🚀🛡️
