This year, Sec-TA joined VivaTech 2026 in Paris as part of Ukraine’s national startup delegation, bringing Ukrainian cybersecurity expertise to one of Europe’s largest technology and innovation stages.
For our team, VivaTech is more than a conference. It is a place where startups, investors, corporations, government leaders, international organizations, and technology ecosystems come together to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and shape what comes next.
And this year, Ukraine is here — visible, ambitious, and ready to show what its technology sector is building.
Representing Ukraine on the global tech stage
Sec-TA came to Paris with a clear mission: to represent Ukraine, present our cybersecurity vision, and connect with people who can help turn strong technology into international impact.
The scale of VivaTech is exceptional. Thousands of companies, founders, investors, policymakers, and technology leaders are gathered in one place, creating an environment where one conversation can open the door to a new partnership, market, or idea.
For Sec-TA, being part of this ecosystem is an important step in building our international presence and strengthening connections across Europe and beyond.
Ukraine’s national stand at VivaTech
Ukraine’s presence at VivaTech 2026 was made possible through the cooperation of organizations working to support and promote the Ukrainian technology ecosystem internationally.
The national stand of Ukraine was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic, Ukrainian Startup Fund, and IT Ukraine Association, in cooperation with La French Tech Kyiv and CCIFU.
The initiative was supported by the EU4Innovation East project, funded by the European Union and the French Government and implemented by Expertise France, with TechUkraine as the communication partner.
We are deeply grateful to everyone involved for creating a platform where Ukrainian startups can be seen, heard, and connected with the global technology community.
These opportunities matter because international visibility is not only about showcasing products. It is about creating relationships, building credibility, understanding new markets, and becoming part of the conversations shaping the future of technology.
Conversations that create opportunities
The first day of VivaTech brought a number of valuable meetings and conversations for Sec-TA.
We had the opportunity to meet and exchange perspectives with Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for Europe, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France; Jeremie Pellet, CEO of Expertise France; Constance Le Grip, Deputy of the French National Assembly; and Alexis Gourdain, Adviser for Economic Affairs, Decarbonization and Budget at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
We also connected with cybersecurity and business leaders, including Geraud Gonzalez, Associate Cybersecurity at EY Consulting, and Naoya Yabe, Client Services Deputy Leader and Executive Managing Partner at EY Japan.
It was also great to reconnect with Mykyta M., Valentin Jędraszyk, Frédérique Vinay, and Arnaud Lumet.
For us, every one of these conversations matters. Each brings a different perspective, a new question, useful feedback, or a potential direction for future cooperation.
Building more than visibility
At international events, it is easy to focus on numbers — how many meetings, contacts, or presentations took place.
But the real value goes deeper.
At Sec-TA, we are not attending VivaTech simply to be present. We are building trust around our technology, developing relationships with international partners, learning from global markets, and creating opportunities for long-term cooperation.
Cybersecurity is fundamentally international. Organizations everywhere face increasingly complex digital environments, expanding attack surfaces, new regulatory requirements, and rapidly evolving technologies.
That is why conversations between cybersecurity companies, policymakers, investors, corporations, and innovation ecosystems are so important.
Strong security is not built in isolation.
Ukrainian technology with global ambition
VivaTech is also an opportunity to demonstrate what the Ukrainian technology ecosystem represents today: strong technical expertise, fast execution, ambitious founders, and products designed with international markets in mind.
For Sec-TA, representing Ukraine in Paris means showing that Ukrainian cybersecurity companies can contribute not only expertise, but also scalable technology and new approaches to digital resilience.
